Memorial Scholarship


In honor of Deborah Lambert, SWANA Evergreen Chapter President 2002-2005 and the many years she dedicated to the solid waste management field, the SWANA Evergreen Chapter is pleased to offer an annual scholarship(s) to qualified undergraduate and graduate students.  The application materials for your son or daughter, granddaughter or grandson to apply for the SWANA Evergreen Chapter Deborah Lambert Memorial Scholarships can be found by clicking here.  The process has been kept simple because we know you and your college age student have had enough paperwork to fill out to get them this far! 

Applications are accepted through April 30 of the year applying.  Recipients will be notified in mid-June.  Not all applicants will be selected as recipients.  Students may re-apply to the program each year they meet the eligibility requirements.

Criteria
Must be children or grandchildren of a Member in good standing or be a student member in good standing.
Must use the attached scholarship application form
Must apply by April 30th of the year applying.

Award Categories
1 Scholarship @ $2000
Must be accepted for enrollment in any junior college or four year college pursuing a degree in a field related to Solid Waste Managment or the Environment.
1 Scholarship @ $1000
Must be accepted for enrollment in any junior college, university, or graduate school in any degree program or major.

A check made payable to the student will be mailed to each recipient's home address by August 1.
